Annet Mahendru
Mahendru is an Afghani woman born of a Russian father and an Hindu Indian mother. Mahendru is fluent in German Russian English, French Persian as well Hindi. Annet Mahendru, born in India, to a Russian father and an Indian mother, speaks fluently with both of the languages. The choreographed show she performed at age 11, which appeared on German television, transformed her into an Russian dancer and snow maiden. After high school, she graduated and earned a bachelor's degree from the Department of English in New York. In college, she attended acting classes in the HB Studio but then moved on to study improvisation at The Groundlings School taking on several comedy projects thereafter. She was created at the age of 13 in Kabul Afghanistan, to Hindu-Indian Ghanshan Kenne Mahendru (father) as well as Russian Olga (mother). She moved from Afghanistan to East Meadow New York, together with her father after she was 13 years old. She is a star along Matthew Rhys and Keri Russel on FX's The Americans. The Americans' Nina Sergeevna Krilova was the most well-known character. She had a recurring part in Fox's The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
